Abstract
The blood bank, the general hospital in the city of Kotamobagu, is a place to service blood needs. One of the tasks of the blood bank of the Kotamobagu city public hospital is to be responsible for the availability of blood for transfusion that is safe, of quality and in sufficient quantities to support services in the municipal general hospital in the city of Kotamobagu. However, in processing patient data, blood supply and providing information still use ledgers to record patient data resulting in problems, namely redundant data, searching for patient data takes 5 - 10 minutes to find the data you are looking for and to check the blood supply you must come to the hospital. Delay in information can hinder patient healing and even lead to death. In this study, a web-based design of a blood bank information system was carried out in a web-based public hospital in the city of Kotamobagu. The system is designed using a prototype model, and is designed using a database and designing the process using an entity relationship diagram (ERD) and designing the display. The information system that has been created in this study is used to assist in the service of the blood bank at the general hospital in the city of Kotamobagu. It makes it easy for blood bank officers to process patient data, process blood supply data, make it easier for potential donors to be able to donate and make it easier for the patient's family to find out information about blood supply so there is no need to come to the hospital to check the blood supply.
