Abstract
According to Permenkes No. 9 of 2017, a pharmacy is defined as a pharmaceutical service facility where professional pharmacy practices are carried out by licensed pharmacists. A Pharmacy Operation License (SIA) serves as official written authorization issued by the district or city government, granting permission to pharmacists to operate a pharmacy. Al-Kautsar Pharmacy Matali, located in Kotamobagu, is one of the pharmacies engaged in the sale of various types of medicines. Based on interviews conducted at Al-Kautsar Pharmacy Matali, it was found that purchase transactions are still recorded manually in ledgers. This manual recording system has resulted in inefficiencies in operational processes and difficulties in preparing reports for management. In addition, although some processes are computerized, the existing sales system has not been fully integrated, leading to suboptimal service performance. Therefore, the development of a drug sales information system is considered necessary to improve service quality and operational effectiveness. The data collection methods employed in this study include observation, interviews, and literature review. The system development utilizes the prototyping method, which consists of several stages: listening to user requirements, designing and developing prototypes, and conducting user-based testing and evaluation. System modeling is designed using structured modeling techniques, including Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Data Dictionaries, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and State Transition Diagrams (STD). The user interface design is developed using the Mockplus application. The outcome of this study is a pharmacy information system design that is expected to support and enhance the operational activities of Al-Kautsar Pharmacy Matali, particularly in managing sales transactions and generating reports more effectively and efficiently.
