Author Guidelines

BOGANI: Journal of Community Service accepts scientific articles derived from community service activities, program implementation reports, conceptual papers, systematic literature reviews, and case studies related to the application of science, technology, and innovation for community empowerment.

1. General Requirements

a. The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under review in another journal.
b. Articles may be written in proper academic Indonesian or English.
c. The manuscript length should be between 4,000–7,000 words, including abstract, tables, figures, and references.
d. Citations must follow APA 7th Edition style.
e. Minimum 10 references with the following criteria:

• 70% from scientific journals

• 60% published within the last 10 years

2. Article Structure

The manuscript must be arranged as follows:

• Title (maximum 15 words)

• Author(s) Name & Affiliation

• Abstract (150–250 words)

• Keywords (3–5 keywords)

• Introduction

• Problem Identification / Background of Community Service

• Method of Implementation

• Results and Impact of Community Service

• Discussion

• Conclusion

• References

3. Formatting

• Font: Times New Roman 12 pt

• Line spacing: 1.5

• Margin: 2.5 cm on all sides

• Tables and figures must be numbered and include clear sources

• Manuscript must use the official journal template

4. Publication Ethics

Authors must:

• Ensure the originality of the manuscript

• Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and citation manipulation

• Avoid multiple submissions

• Declare any conflict of interest (if any)

• Follow publication ethics based on COPE guidelines.
