Peer Reviewer Process
BOGANI: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat implements a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process. This system ensures fairness, objectivity, and the scientific quality of published articles.
The review process consists of the following stages:
- Initial Screening (1–2 Weeks)
The editorial team evaluates the submitted manuscript for:
• Compliance with the journal's focus and scope.
• Adherence to the journal's formatting and submission guidelines.
• Plagiarism screening using plagiarism detection software. - Peer Review by at Least Two Reviewers (2–4 Weeks)
Each manuscript is reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers who assess:
• The relevance and significance of the community service program.
• The originality and innovation of the proposed solutions.
• The quality of the implementation methods.
• The impact and benefits for the target community.
• The clarity of the results, discussion, and conclusions.
• The contribution to community empowerment and sustainable development. - Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may issue one of the following decisions:
• Accept
• Minor Revision
• Major Revision
• Reject - Final Decision
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision after considering the reviewers’ recommendations and the revised manuscript.
The estimated duration of the review process is approximately 4–6 weeks, depending on the responsiveness of reviewers and authors.
