Author Guidelines

1. General Guidelines

SEHATI: Jurnal Kesehatan dan Keperawatan Terintegrasi welcomes scientific manuscripts in the form of original research articles, literature or review articles, case studies, development and innovation articles, and community service articles that are relevant to the journal's focus and scope.

Manuscripts may be submitted by lecturers, researchers, practitioners, and students. Submitted manuscripts must be original works, have not been previously published, and must not be under review or consideration for publication in another journal.

2. Manuscript Format

Authors are required to follow the following manuscript formatting guidelines:

  • Articles may be written in Indonesian or English.
  • Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
  • Use Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Use 1.5 line spacing.
  • Use A4 paper size.
  • Page margins: 3 cm top, 3 cm bottom, 3 cm left, and 3 cm right.
  • Manuscripts should be 8–15 pages, including tables, figures, and references.

3. Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be organized systematically according to the following structure:

1. Title

The title should be clear, specific, informative, and accurately reflect the substance of the article or research.

2. Author Identity

Include the full name of each author, institutional affiliation, institutional address, and email address of the corresponding author.

3. Abstract

The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English, with a maximum of 250 words. It should include the research objective, methods, main findings, and conclusion.

4. Keywords

Provide 3–5 keywords relevant to the topic of the article. Keywords should be separated by semicolons (;).

5. Introduction

The introduction should present the research background, context, research problem or gap, research objectives, and a relevant brief review of the literature.

6. Research Method

Describe the research design or approach, population and sample or research subjects, research setting and period where relevant, data collection techniques, research instruments, and data analysis methods. Research ethics considerations should also be stated when applicable.

7. Results and Discussion

Present the research findings systematically and objectively, followed by a discussion that interprets the findings and relates them to relevant theories and previous studies.

8. Conclusion

Present conclusions based on the research findings and address the research objectives. Recommendations or implications may be included where relevant.

9. References

The reference list must include all sources cited in the manuscript and must be consistently formatted according to the citation style adopted by the journal.

4. Citation and References

  • In-text citations and references must follow APA Style.
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero.
  • Manuscripts must contain at least 15 relevant and academically reliable references.
  • References published within the last five years are preferred, except for seminal or classic sources that remain relevant to the research topic.
  • Every source cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and every reference listed must be cited in the manuscript.

5. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the SEHATI Open Journal System (OJS).
  • Authors must ensure that their manuscripts comply with the Author Guidelines and journal template before submission.
  • Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before entering the review stage.
  • Each manuscript that passes the initial screening will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

6. Review Process

Manuscripts will be reviewed by reviewers with appropriate expertise in the relevant field. The review process is conducted objectively and confidentially.

Editorial decisions may include:

  • Accepted
  • Accepted with Revision
  • Resubmit for Review
  • Rejected

The final decision is made by the editor based on the review results and academic considerations.

7. Plagiarism Policy

SEHATI applies an anti-plagiarism policy to all submitted manuscripts. Each manuscript may be screened using plagiarism-detection software before or during the review process.

The maximum acceptable similarity level follows the journal's applicable policy. Manuscripts exceeding the permitted similarity threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.

8. Publication Frequency

SEHATI: Jurnal Kesehatan dan Keperawatan Terintegrasi is published twice a year, in June and December.

9. Copyright and License

Authors retain the copyright of their published articles in accordance with the journal's applicable policies and licensing terms.

Published articles are made openly accessible to support education, research, knowledge development, and other academic purposes, subject to the applicable licensing terms.

10. Correspondence

All communication regarding manuscript submission, review, revision, and publication is conducted through the SEHATI OJS and official email.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the email address registered in the OJS is active and available for editorial and publication-related communications.
