Screening for Plagiarism Policy
BOGANI: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all published manuscripts. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin and/or Similarity Check before entering the peer-review process.
The journal applies the following similarity requirements:
• The maximum overall Similarity Index is 20%.
• Similarity from a single source must not exceed 5%.
• Properly quoted text, references, and bibliography sections are excluded from plagiarism assessment where applicable.
If plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or excessive textual similarity is detected, the editorial team may take the following actions:
• Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
• Request for revision and resubmission in minor cases.
• Placement of the author(s) on the journal’s editorial monitoring list in cases of serious ethical misconduct.
BOGANI maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and other forms of academic misconduct.
