Author Guidelines
MATRIX Journal accepts scientific articles in the form of research papers, literature reviews, case studies, and technology development related to the journal’s focus and scope. Articles may be submitted by lecturers, researchers, practitioners, or students.
Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review in any other journal.
Manuscript Format
Authors must follow the following manuscript format:
- Articles must be written in Indonesian or English.
- Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
- Use Times New Roman font, size 12 pt.
- Use 1.5 line spacing on A4 paper size.
- Margins: top 3 cm, bottom 3 cm, left 3 cm, right 3 cm.
- Manuscript length should be between 8–15 pages.
Structure of the Manuscript
1. Title
The article title must be clear, specific, and reflect the content of the research.
2. Author Identity
Include the author’s name, institutional affiliation, and corresponding email address.
3. Abstract
The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English, with a maximum of 250 words containing the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
4. Keywords
Consist of 3–5 keywords relevant to the research topic.
5. Introduction
Contains the background, problem formulation, research objectives, and brief literature review.
6. Research Method
Explains the research methodology, data collection techniques, and analysis methods used.
7. Results and Discussion
Presents the research findings and scientific discussion.
8. Conclusion
Contains the conclusions of the research and suggestions for future studies.
9. References
Use recent and relevant references.
Citation and References
- Citations and references must follow APA Style.
- Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.
- A minimum of 15 references from relevant scientific journals, proceedings, or academic books is required.
- References should primarily be from publications within the last 5 years.
Submission Process
- Articles must be submitted through the MATRIX Journal Open Journal System (OJS).
- Authors must ensure that manuscripts comply with the journal template before submission.
- All submitted articles will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Review Process
The review process is conducted by competent reviewers according to the article’s field of study. Final decisions include:
- Accepted
- Accepted with Revision
- Resubmit for Review
- Rejected
Plagiarism Policy
MATRIX Journal implements an anti-plagiarism policy. All submitted manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software with a similarity limit according to the journal policy.
Publication Frequency
MATRIX Journal is published periodically according to the publication schedule determined by the editorial board.
Copyright and License
Authors retain copyright of the published articles. All published articles are openly accessible for academic and scientific development purposes.
