Peer Reviewer Process
MATRIX Journal implements a peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of every published article. All submitted manuscripts undergo a professional, objective, and academic evaluation process.
1. Initial Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the MATRIX Journal Open Journal System (OJS) in accordance with the journal template and author guidelines.
2. Editorial Screening
The editor conducts an initial screening of the manuscript to ensure:
- Suitability with the journal’s focus and scope.
- Completeness of the article structure.
- Quality of academic writing.
- Compliance with the journal writing guidelines.
- Results of plagiarism screening.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected at the initial stage.
3. Double-Blind Peer Review
MATRIX Journal applies a double-blind peer review method, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to maintain objectivity in the review process.
Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area of the article. Reviewers will evaluate the following aspects:
- Research originality.
- Novelty and scientific contribution.
- Clarity of research methodology.
- Quality of analysis and discussion.
- Relevance of references.
- Consistency between conclusions and research findings.
- Quality of scientific writing.
4. Review Decision
Based on the review results, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
- Accepted : The article is accepted without revision.
- Accepted with Minor Revision : The article is accepted with minor revisions.
- Accepted with Major Revision : The article requires major revisions before reconsideration.
- Resubmit for Review : The article must be resubmitted for another review process.
- Rejected : The article is rejected for not meeting the journal standards.
5. Revision Process
Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to the reviewers’ and editors’ comments within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation if necessary.
6. Final Decision
The final publication decision is made by the editor based on the review and revision results. The editor reserves the right to accept or reject manuscripts according to the journal quality standards.
7. Publication
Accepted articles will proceed to the editing, layout, proofreading, and publication stages in the scheduled journal issue.
