Screening for Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to BOGANI: Journal of Community Service will be checked using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or Similarity Check to ensure the originality of the work.

Plagiarism screening rules:

• The maximum similarity index allowed is 20%

• Similarity from a single source must not exceed 5%

• References, properly cited quotations, and common terms are not considered plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected:

• The manuscript will be rejected at the editorial stage

• Authors may be asked to provide clarification or revision if necessary

• In serious cases, the author may be placed under editorial monitoring and may be restricted from submitting manuscripts for a certain period

This policy is implemented to maintain academic integrity, publication quality, and reader trust in the journal.
